KING Wrap-Up: BISC Bob Miller Sprint Distance Classic

KING brought over 75+ swimmers out to Bainbridge Island over the weekend to compete in the BISC Bob Miller Sprint/Distance Classic. KING swimmers represented well taking home many first place overall finishes, countless best time swims, and had the most fun of any team at the event!

KING Meet Highlights

  • KING finished 1st overall out of 10 Teams in the Women’s Team Score category. KING finished 2nd behind Bellevue Club in both the Men’s and Combined Team scores.
  • A special congratulations to Emily Deng for winning the Women’s Overall High Point Award (see photo)! Emily raced in the maximum six races winning 5 of the 6 races she competed in for the Women 17&Over category. Way to go Emily! 
  • Congratulations to Audrey Welfare for picking up her first PNS Age Group Champs time standard of the season in the 1650 Freestyle. PNS Age Group Champs is the highest level of competition exclusive to member clubs of Pacific Northwest Swimming
  • The largest time drop of the meet belonged to Prima Sanders in the 25 Breaststroke dropping over 11 seconds clocking in at 24.22. This was over a 31% drop from her previous best!
