Are you interested in joining KING?

Our group structure is focused on long-term development, so we aim to place each swimmer in a training group with other swimmers who are of similar age and ability levels and who have similar levels of commitment, physical and emotional maturity, and practice habits/skills. To achieve proper placement, we require that every swimmer be evaluated by a current KING coach before joining the team. Where are the practice facilities?

Directions to all facilities can be found under the ABOUT US > Facilities tab.

What to wear to the evaluation?

Swimmers must come to the evaluation session ready to swim at least 10 minutes prior to the evaluation time. Please wear:

  • Proper swim training attire. Baggy shorts or ’beach wear’ are not acceptable.
  • Goggles and a swim cap if the swimmer needs one.

What to expect?

Evaluations will determine if the child is ready for organized competitive swim training. They are comprehensive and can be physically taxing. All activities are age appropriate and simulate what athletes will experience during normal practice sessions and meets.
